Job Title: Chef in Charge- Arabic Cuisine (Preferred Female FeLipina / Kanyan)

Monthly Salary: QAR 2,500

Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and eager in Arabic (Qatari) Foods Demi Chef de Partie to join our talented culinary team. The candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the chefs in the daily production of our delectable food varieties. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in pastry to gain hands-on experience and develop their culinary skills in a professional setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute a variety of Arabic Food items, according to standardized recipes and specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in doing Arabic Food in a professional kitchen, preferably in a Arabic Restaurant.
  • Culinary degree or certification from a recognized culinary school or apprenticeship program is preferred. ( Not necessary)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of quality, consistency, and cleanliness.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Demonstrate precision and attention to detail in all aspects of pastry production, including portioning, shaping, baking, and finishing techniques.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tastings to monitor the quality of Food products and identify opportunities for improvement or refinement.
  • Organize and manage the pastry station, including equipment setup, cleanliness, and maintenance, to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Coordinate with other members of the culinary team to prioritize tasks, maintain production schedules, and meet service deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the Chefs and culinary team to develop new recipes, concepts, and menu items that showcase creativity, innovation, and seasonal ingredients.
  • Participate in menu planning meetings, tastings, and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas and suggestions for pastry offerings.
  • Lead by example and demonstrate proper techniques, procedures, and best practices in food production, sanitation, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Can speak English well, and Arabic (preferred)
  • Prior experience in a Arabic kitchen is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of pastry techniques and ingredients. Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and willingness to learn. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry moderate weights, and work with hot ovens and kitchen equipment.
