Cheif Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant with a strong background in the real estate sector to manage and oversee all accounting and financial operations. The role ensures compliance with local regulations, accurate financial reporting, and effective financial control.

Job Location: Baghdad, Iraq

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full accounting cycle, including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow for real estate projects
• Ensure compliance with Iraqi tax laws and statutory requirements
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities
• Supervise and guide the accounting team

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/ACCA preferred)
• Minimum 7–10 years’ experience, with real estate experience mandatory
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and Iraqi regulations
• Proficiency in accounting/ERP systems and MS Excel
• Strong leadership and analytical skills
