Role Overview

We are seeking a Chemical Engineering Director to lead our engineering division in Al Wakrah. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong expertise in chemical engineering, plant operations, and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for guiding engineering teams, optimizing processes, and driving innovation to support Alchemist Chemical’s growth and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across chemical engineering operations.
• Oversee process design, optimization, and plant performance.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to align engineering solutions with business objectives.
• Drive innovation by adopting emerging technologies and sustainable practices.
• Manage budgets, resources, and operational KPIs.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering professional growth and accountability.
• Represent Alchemist Chemical in industry forums and regulatory discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in chemical engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale engineering operations.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-risk industrial environment.

Pay: Up to QAR38,000.00 per month
