Chief Technology Officer

  • Strategy and architecture

Define and own technology strategy, target architecture, and roadmap for BNPL and supporting platforms.

Meet security, availability, performance, and cost targets. Design for scale, observability, and incident response.

  • Delivery and operations

Build and lead engineering, data, and IT operations. Establish SDLC, release, and incident management.

Own integrations with PSPs, e‑KYC, credit bureau, and other vendors with clear ownership and resilience.

  • Security and compliance

Implement controls aligned to Information Security, Data Protection, Vendor Governance, and Change Management policies.

Meet applicable regulatory and standards requirements.

  • Risk and governance

Lead Tech Change Advisory and Architecture Review. Maintain risk register, control testing, and audit remediation.

Ensure vendor DD, DPAs, SLAs, and exit plans. Monitor performance and security posture.

  • Data and analytics

Establish data platform, quality, and access controls for reporting, credit decisioning, and regulatory evidence.

  • People leadership

Hire, coach, and retain a high‑performing team.

Define ladders, performance goals, and culture.

  • Budget and vendor management

Own tech budget, unit economics, and capacity planning.

Negotiate and manage vendor contracts.

  • Business partnership

Partner with Product, Compliance, and Operations to prioritize outcomes and maintain audit‑ready evidence.

Expected hours: 8.0 per week

Application Question(s):

  • Do you familiar with PCI‑DSS scoping, 3‑DS, and Qatar regulatory landscape?
  • Do you qualification in Prior CTO, VP Engineering, or Head of Engineering in payments, lending, or BNPL?

Experience:

  • software engineering : 10 years (Preferred)
  • leading tech/platform teams in fintech, payments: 5 years (Preferred)

Language:

  • English (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • QID (Preferred)
