Role Overview

We are seeking a Chemical Operations Director to lead and oversee our operations in Al Khor. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong expertise in chemical manufacturing, plant operations, and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, ensuring safety standards, and guiding strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across chemical production and operations.
• Oversee plant performance, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize productivity.
• Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to align operations with business goals.
• Manage budgets, resources, and operational KPIs.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams, fostering innovation and accountability.
• Represent Alchemist Chemical in industry forums and regulatory discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in chemical operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale chemical operations.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-risk industrial environment.

Pay: Up to QAR36,000.00 per month
