Job Description:

This on-site, full-time position will focus on the formulation, development, and characterization of polymer-based adhesives and coatings . The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in new product innovation, material testing, and scaling processes from laboratory to manufacturing , ensuring all products meet stringent performance and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and compound silicone, acrylic, and rubber-based adhesives and coatings for medical, electronic, and industrial applications.
• Design and conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate chemical, physical, and performance properties of materials.
• Apply advanced analytical techniques (e.g., DSC, TGA, FTIR, rheometry) for material characterization and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, quality, manufacturing, and regulatory) to develop new products and optimize existing formulations.
• Develop and execute quality control testing protocols ; ensure compliance with industry standards and internal specifications.
• Accurately document formulations, test data, experimental procedures, and technical reports .
• Support scale-up activities from bench to production, including troubleshooting formulation and process challenges.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and safety in the laboratory and production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry , Polymer Science, Materials Science , or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in polymer formulation, adhesives, or coatings development (R&D or industrial setting preferred).
• Proficiency in laboratory practices and analytical methods for chemical and material testing.
• Familiarity with cGMP, ISO standards, or regulated manufacturing environments (medical device or pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus).
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and technical troubleshooting skills .
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities ; proven track record of collaboration across teams.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced, innovative environment.
