This position is a 6-month contract-to-hire.

JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will be responsible for reading and executing chemical manufacturing processes according to standard operation protocols, ensuring proper documentation and recording of the manufacturing process, performing repetitive tasks while adhering to the production schedule, and carefully loading and unloading chemical materials throughout the processes. Additionally, you will clean, monitor, and maintain production equipment and glassware. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of general lab and chemical safety, strong communication, organization, collaboration, and time management skills, attention to detail in the manufacturing process, and experience with GMP/GDP.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Associate or bachelor's degree in Chemistry High level organic chemistry background

Experience with Large (100+ gallon distillation tanks) distilling of fine chemicals

Experience with acrylic materials/acrylic monomers and polymers OR silicones, silanes

Ability to coach and guide junior team members on distilling fine chemicals

Strong attention to detail; proven ability to collaborate cross functionally, and propose efficiencies to leadership Strong documentation experience such as following and writting SOP's Experience within chemical manufacturing distillation Distillation on raw materials carbon filtration on raw materials
