Strategic

· To review all the QC test procedures.

· To review & maintain laboratory testing equipment’s operational procedures.


Process/Operational

· To examine the physical, chemical, microbiological and sensory parameters of fats and oils in different stages of handling and processing.

· To prepare different chemical reagents and solutions necessary for lab testing.

· To inform and discuss with QC Manager incase of any fluctuation in the quality of oils.

· To control the concentration of different food additives in finished products.

· To coordinate with process supervisors to maintain the in-process quality of oils.

· To ensure that the quality of finished goods are within the specifications.

· To coordinate with the Production Manager so that the type of oil being filled is matching with the packaging materials with correct date coding.

· To examine the ghee products inside the cold rooms and during packing to ensure proper chilling.

· To control the inventory of lab equipments, chemicals and food additives

· To check the personal hygiene of plant personnel and cleanliness of plant premises and laboratory

· To update all documents and report to the QC Manager.

· To do any other given assignment related to quality departments.


People

· To Identify the points and frequency of sampling for maintaining the quality standards of products.

· Supervision and maintain the quality Control Laboratory.
