The Chemist is responsible for conducting chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished oil products to ensure compliance with company specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. The role supports production quality, process optimization, product development, and laboratory safety within the oil manufacturing facility.

  • Perform laboratory testing and analysis of oils, lubricants, additives, chemicals, and related products.
  • Analyze raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods for quality assurance.
  • Conduct tests including viscosity, density, flash point, moisture content, acidity, contamination, and other chemical properties.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports, and documentation.
  • Ensure all products comply with company specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor production samples and provide technical support to production teams.
  • Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Assist in research and development activities for new formulations and product improvements.
  • Investigate product quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Follow laboratory safety procedures, environmental regulations, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
  • Maintain inventory of laboratory chemicals, reagents, and consumables.
  • Prepare certificates of analysis (COA) and quality reports.
  • Participate in internal audits and quality improvement initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of laboratory experience in oil manufacturing, lubricants, petrochemicals, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of ASTM, ISO, and other relevant testing standards.
  • Familiarity with laboratory instruments such as GC, HPLC, viscometer, spectrophotometer, and titration equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good computer skills, including MS Office and laboratory software systems.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
