Chief Accountant

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to join our dynamic financial team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management and accounting, with proficiency in various accounting software . This role requires a strategic thinker who can oversee all aspects of financial accounting, manage accounts payable, and mentor junior staff to ensure the smooth operation of our financial services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Ensure reports comply with accounting standards and regulations.
• Develop, manage, and monitor the organization’s budget.
• Conduct financial forecasting and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Lead and manage the accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
• Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and payment of invoices.
• Coordinate and support external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive cost accounting policies and procedures.
• Provide management-level support for budgeting and forecasting activities, including conducting variance analysis and cost trend analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and accurate monthly and quarterly reporting of inventory, costs of goods sold, and other financial data.
• Assist in the creation of business plans, financial models, and other analyses related to new business initiatives.
• Work with Hospitality department on inventory management .

• Experience in developing and implementing financial strategies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with financial software and tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting..
• Professional certification such as CPA or CFA is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience in F&B industry.
