Chief Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and hands-on experience in GST compliance, TDS calculations and filings, and manufacturing journal entries. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting operations and ledger entries.
• Assist with preparation of balance sheet, profit & loss account, and cash flow statements.
• Support statutory and internal audits.
• GST Compliance & Reporting
• Record and monitor inventory movements including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Prepare and post manufacturing journal entries (e.g., consumption, production, overhead absorption).
• Calculate cost of production and assist in cost analysis.
• Maintain accurate records of production and material usage.
• TDS (Tax Deducted at Source)

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance or other related field.
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience (preferably in manufacturing industry).
• Proficiency in accounting software like Tally ERP, SAP, Zoho Books, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of GST and TDS provisions.
• Experience in preparing and managing manufacturing-related journal entries.
• Good MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
