Chief Accountant

The Chief Accountant will oversee and manage the overall accounting and financial reporting functions of the organization. This role ensures compliance with statutory requirements, implements financial controls, prepares accurate financial statements, and supports management in strategic decision-making.

Manage the accounting team and oversee daily accounting operations (AP, AR, payroll, general ledger).Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Develop and implement internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.

Handle tax planning, filing, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with external auditors, banks, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support management decisions.

Monitor cash flow, fund management, and working capital requirements.

Oversee asset management, depreciation schedules, and reconciliations.

Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and safeguarding of financial data.

Provide financial analysis and advice to management on business performance and profitability.
