We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to join our team and lead our finance and accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business growth.
• Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations and IFRS standards.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage financial audits.
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls and policies.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team for optimal performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA or equivalent is preferred).
• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior/supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and UAE tax regulations.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Experience in the shipping/logistics industry is an advantage.
