Chief Accountant

About the role

We are B2B car rental (partner-based, no own fleet) and automotive services including Auto Service, Detailing, Painting, with an in-house spare parts and materials inventory. We are looking for a hands-on Chief Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting and ensure UAE tax compliance.

Key responsibilities:

– Full-cycle accounting: bookkeeping.

– UAE tax compliance: VAT and Corporate Tax.

–Prepare accounting data for month-end close to support management reporting.

– Document workflow & primary documentation control.

– B2B rental accounting: partner/supplier settlements, invoicing, reconciliations; correct treatment of commission/agency income depending on contract structure.

– Service operations accounting (Service/Detailing/Painting): job orders, cost allocation, tracking profitability drivers, and control of operational expenses.

– Inventory accounting.

– Liaise with auditors, banks, and external providers; respond to requests and maintain compliance-ready documentation.

Requirements:

– 5+ years of accounting experience, including a senior/lead role (UAE experience is a consequently ).

– Strong practical knowledge of UAE VAT; working knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax.

– Experience in transactional businesses (services + inventory); confident with inventory accounting, cost allocation, and reconciliations.

– Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with accounting software (Xero/Zoho Books/QuickBooks/ERP or similar).

– English is required (other languages are optional).

– Detail-oriented, structured, proactive; able to work independently and improve processes.

Nice to have: Experience with Cyber Automotive software.

Compensation & conditions:

– Salary from 15,000 AED (final package depends on experience)
