Role Description

This is a full time role for a Chief Accountant, based in Dubai UAE for one of our customers. 

The Chief Accountant will oversee financial reporting, budget preparation, tax compliance, and ledger maintenance. Responsibilities include performing reconciliations, supervising accounting teams, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and regulations. The individual will also contribute to process improvements for efficient financial operations. 

Qualifications

• Expertise in financial reporting, budget management, and tax compliance 
• Strong understanding of ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and financial analysis 
• Experience with accounting software and proficiency in advanced MS Excel 
• Knowledge of local and international accounting standards and regulatory compliance 
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines 
• Leadership and team supervision experience 
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,  
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax. 
• Fluent in Arabic and English (mandatory).
