Chief Accountant

Job Purpose:

The Chief Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing all accounting functions, including but not limited to financial reporting, auditing, and budgeting. The individual will ensure the integrity of all accounting information by establishing quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Prepare financial statements and business activity reports.

· Coordinate the company’s annual audit process.

· Evaluate and manage risk.

· Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all financial information.

· Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff.

Educational Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. An advanced degree (MBA or Masters in Accounting) and professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, pr CMA are preferred.

- At least 10 years of professional experience in a managerial role, is required.
