Chief Accountant

Location: Remote

Summary: The Chief Accountant is responsible for overseeing the company's core accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and strong internal controls. This role plays a critical part in supporting leadership with reliable financial data and maintaining the financial health of a fast growing medical imaging and healthcare technology organization.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Minimum 5 years experience in accounting
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
• Understanding of multi-currency consolidations
• Knowledge of GAAP and SaaS revenue recognition principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting activities including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and bank reconciliations
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Maintain chart of accounts and accounting policies in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal policies, and applicable healthcare regulations
• Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Develop, implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
