Chief Accountant

We are seeking a Chief Accountant to oversee our financial operations and drive strategic growth.

Core Responsibilities

  • Cost Control & Analysis: Monitor and control Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), food and beverage costs, and wastage.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including branch-wise Profit & Loss (P&L) and cash flow analysis.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate monthly physical stock counts and reconcile them with system records.
  • Sales Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation between Point of Sale (POS) systems, bank settlements, and cash collections.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop annual operating budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with operations and outlet managers.
  • Compliance & Tax: Manage VAT returns and ensure all financial operations comply with local tax laws and IFRS/GAAP standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the accounting team.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is standard; professional certifications like CPA, ACCA, or CMA are highly preferred.
  • Experience: Typically 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years specifically in the F&B or hospitality sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and restaurant POS software.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical abilities to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
