Chief Accountant from the Architectural Metal Works / Fabrication / Manufacturing industry
to manage company’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with strong focus on
project costing, cost control and profitability analysis.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Budgeting

Prepare the annual budget in coordination with the Group Financial Controller and General Manager.

Collect and analyze financial data from departments to produce accurate forecasts.

Develop and maintain financial models and management reports.
2. Financial Reporting & Compliance
-
Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and UAE regulations.

Implement and monitor accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.

Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts and resolution of discrepancies.
-
Review bank facilities and update the company authorization matrix with management.

Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities (including FTA).
3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

Authorize payments after verifying documentation and fund availability.
-
Monitor and forecast cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity.
-
Manage bank deposits and negotiate favourable terms.
-
Prepare treasury reports and arrange fund transfers as required.
4. Payroll & Employee Benefits
-
Review and process monthly payroll through WPS in coordination with HR.
-
Validate salary changes, deductions, and benefits calculations.
-
Calculate end-of-service benefits, leave settlements, and other employee entitlements.

Ensure HRMS financial data accuracy.
5. Receivables & Collections
-
Oversee collections and monitor overdue accounts.
-
Review monthly bank reconciliations and resolve outstanding issues.
6. Data Management & Administration
-
Ensure proper secure archiving of financial records.
-
Oversee administrative financial processes including vendor contracts and renewals.

Coordinate with HR, PRO, banks, suppliers and customers as required.

Work independently to finalize financial statements and support audits.
Education & Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.

Professional certification preferred (CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, CIA, or CFA).
Experience
-
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience.
-
At least 3 years’ experience as Chief Accountant or similar role in the UAE.

Experience in a multicultural working environment.
