Position Summary:

The Chief Accountant is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the Owners Association (OA), ensuring compliance with RERA and relevant community management laws. The role includes budgeting, financial reporting, audits, service charge management, and maintaining transparent accounting records for the association.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and supervise junior accounting staff.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Oversee collection of service charges, community fees, and ensure timely reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with RERA regulations and OA financial guidelines.
  • Review vendor invoices, contracts, and payment approvals.
  • Monitor reserve fund accounts and ensure accurate allocation.
  • Prepare financial reports for the Owners Association Board and management.
  • Liaise with community managers, property managers, and owners regarding financial matters.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls.
  • Support in policy development and financial strategy for the OA.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Professional certification such as CPA / CMA / ACCA is an advantage.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 in a senior role within real estate, property management, or Owners Association.
  • Strong understanding of RERA/OA financial regulations and community service charge accounting.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Yardi, Oracle).
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and organizational ability.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
