Your role

We’re hiring a Chief Communications Officer to own Fairmint’s voice , and the narrative of the onchain equity movement itself.

You’ll define how founders, investors, institutions, and regulators perceive what we’re building and why it matters.

You’ll work directly with the CEO to craft the story, drive visibility, and position Fairmint as the leader at the intersection of fintech, blockchain, and capital markets.

This is a high-impact role for someone who knows how to turn complex innovation into influence.

What you'll own

• Develop and execute Fairmint’s global communications strategy across corporate, media, and public channels
• Craft the overarching narrative architecture for Fairmint and the category of onchain equity
• Manage media relations, speaking opportunities, and executive visibility for the CEO and leadership team
• Oversee press releases, op-eds, thought leadership content, and crisis communications
• Partner with the CMO to ensure message consistency across marketing and communications
• Build relationships with journalists, investors, regulators, and ecosystem partners
• Lead Fairmint’s strategic positioning during major launches, partnerships, and funding events

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of experience in communications, PR, or strategic storytelling for high-growth tech or fintech companies
• Proven experience leading communications for market-defining technologies (AI, fintech, blockchain, or similar)
• Deep media relationships and an instinct for how narratives move across ecosystems
• Exceptional writing and editing skills; you can make complex things sound obvious
• Strategic thinker with operational discipline; capable of handling high-stakes messaging
• Must be based on the US East Coast - Hartford, CT or NYC preferred
