Location: Dreamworld Resort, Hotel & Golf Course – Karachi, Pakistan

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on, and visionary Chief Engineer to lead all engineering, technical, and maintenance operations across our expansive resort complex. The ideal candidate will ensure the seamless, safe, and energy-efficient functioning of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and specialty systems—including solar power, RO water plants, elevators, HVAC, and backup power—critical to supporting Dreamworld’s unique blend of hospitality, recreation, and leisure infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of all HVAC systems, ensuring optimal utilization.

Manage electrical power generation system, including performance monitoring, preventive maintenance, and coordination with utility providers to maximize energy efficiency and sustainability.

Supervise and coordinate all engineering disciplines, including:

Electrical systems: power generation, distribution, switchgear, lighting, and emergency circuits.

Mechanical systems: operation and maintenance of hot/cold water plants, pumps, compressors, and kitchen/utility equipment.

Electronics: troubleshooting, system upgrades, and integration of building automation or security systems.

Plumbing & Woodworks: ensure high-quality, timely execution of repairs, installations, and aesthetic finishes.

Civil & Finishing Works: oversee minor construction, renovations, and refurbishments in compliance with original design and safety standards.

Oversee the safe, reliable, and code-compliant operation of all elevators and lifts, including scheduled servicing and emergency response protocols.

Supervise the Reverse Osmosis (RO) water purification plants, ensuring consistent delivery of clean, potable water for guest consumption, kitchen use, and recreational facilities.

Implement and maintain an efficient Inventory Management System for engineering spare parts, tools, and consumables to minimize downtime and control costs.

Lead a multidisciplinary team of technicians and external vendors; enforce safety protocols, preventive maintenance schedules, and rapid response to emergencies.

Collaborate with teams to support seamless guest experiences through reliable support.

Qualifications & Experience:

Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical (or equivalent technical certification).

Minimum 10–15 years of hands-on engineering experience in large-scale hotels, resorts, or integrated leisure complexes.

Strong understanding of electrical distribution, mechanical systems, plumbing, and building infrastructure.

Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures, energy management, and inventory control systems.

Knowledge of Pakistani building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
