About The Role

As Chief Engineer at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza, Egypt, you will oversee all engineering operations, ensuring the Hotel’s systems and facilities run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Leading a dedicated team, you’ll manage preventive maintenance, support sustainability initiatives, and uphold the highest standards of luxury and safety. This role is key to delivering the exceptional quality and comfort Four Seasons is known for.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive professional to lead our engineering department. The ideal candidate will implement the 10/5 Rule , and be skilled in hiring, training, supervising, and motivating team members . Responsibilities include managing preventive maintenance schedules , conducting performance reviews , and ensuring efficient departmental operations through strong systems and controls. The role also involves preparing annual and five-year budgets , maintaining fire life safety equipment , and ensuring the team is trained in emergency procedures and CPR . Strong communication skills and the ability to build reliable contractor relationships are essential.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and exceptional problem-solving abilities , along with proven leadership and interpersonal skills . In this role, you will oversee engineering projects from inception to completion , ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards . This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to contribute to impactful engineering initiatives and lead projects that make a difference.
