The Chief Executive Business Development (Gaming) is responsible for supporting the development of Dubai’s gaming industry by delivering business
development services to local and international game studios, developers, and related ecosystem players. This includes remaining up to date on the local and international gaming industry, coordinating service delivery to local gaming businesses, managing event/forum/expo logistics, and ensuring
businesses have access to growth-enabling tools, programs, and opportunities. The role holder is expected to demonstrate strong teamwork skills and
carry out his/her duties in accordance with the relevant business policies and procedures.
Key Accountabilities
1. General Responsibilities
- Implement the operational requirements for Business Development (Gaming), in line with the overall Business Development (Gaming)strategy, vision and goals.
- Work collaboratively with the Business Development (Gaming) team and wider Gaming department to ensure smooth and on-time delivery of services to gaming businesses.
- Provide metrics and supporting documents to the Head of Business Development (Gaming), to support with the monthly KPI reports.
2. Business Support Delivery
- Guide businesses in accessing DMC support such as funding programs, accelerator applications, and permit assistance.
- Maintain documentation on DMC services and communicate processes to gaming companies.
- Support onboarding of new businesses into Dubai’s gaming ecosystem.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve service issues or process delays.
- Track common support requests and escalate unresolved issues for system improvement.
3. Local Business Ecosystem Engagement
- Maintain a live database of active game developers, publishers, and support providers in Dubai.
- Track business maturity levels, activity types, and infrastructure needs.
- Conduct outreach to capture feedback on service gaps and challenges.
- Support partnership introductions and matchmaking efforts for local businesses.
- Identify ecosystem gaps and share insights with the Senior Specialist and Head.
4.Infrastructure and Ecosystem Collaboration
- Support the development of physical and digital infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of game studios and publishers.
- Partner with external stakeholders to drive the creation of gaming hubs, tech labs, and coworking studios.
- Advocate for initiatives that support esports arena development, developer workspaces, and VFX/gaming studio upgrades.
- Track infrastructure usage and identify areas for improvement or expansion.
- Collaborate with cloud service providers and technology firms to secure partnerships and service agreements.
5. Event and Representation Coordination
- Assist in preparing Dubai-based gaming companies for participation in gaming expos, trade missions, and pitch competitions.
- Coordinate booth logistics, registration, and material production for events.
- Provide support during local and global forums including participant management and content preparation.
- Gather and compile post-event feedback from businesses.
- Track ROI metrics such as leads generated and partnerships initiated.
6. Reporting and Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate records of all business interactions and service outcomes.
- Assist with KPI tracking and documentation for the team.
- Compile case studies or success stories for publication or internal reporting.
- Ensure up-to-date archiving of event materials, service templates, and business support assets.
- Provide administrative support to the Head Business Development (Gaming) as needed.

Experience Required Functional Experience
- 2-4 years in gaming, digital media, or tech sector business development
- Experience supporting gaming startups and established studios across B2B and B2C environments
