Chief Executive Officer

The Client:

Our client is a well-established and fast-growing FMCG company in Egypt. They are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization into its next chapter.

The Role:

As CEO, you will provide strategic, operational, and cultural leadership across the entire organization. This role will require a commercially oriented, hands-on leader with a deep understanding of the Egyptian FMCG landscape. You will be responsible for setting the vision, driving results, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve sustained growth and profitability.

• Lead the development and execution of the company's long-term strategic plan.
• Oversee commercial, operations, finance, HR, and supply chain functions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Drive performance improvement across all business units and functions.
• Foster a high-performance culture grounded in accountability and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with all local laws and global best practices in governance.
• Represent the company externally with investors, partners, regulators, and media.
• Must come from a large-scale sales operations background and have led direct distribution networks.

The Ideal Candidate:

• 18+ years of progressive leadership experience within the FMCG industry.
• Proven ability to lead business transformation and deliver top-line growth and bottom-line results.
• Deep understanding of the Egyptian consumer market, retail landscape, and regulatory environment.
• Strong financial acumen, commercial orientation, and a results-driven mindset.
• Demonstrated success in leading diverse, cross-functional teams through change.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Candidates who are eligible to work in Egypt without visa sponsorship are highly preferred.
