Role Summary
We are expanding our global footprint with the launch of its licensed Payment Services Provider (PSP) entity in Egypt, regulated by the
Central Bank of Egypt
(CBE).
We are recruiting a
Chief Executive Officer
(CEO) for our
Egypt
office to provide strategic leadership, ensure strict adherence to CBE regulations, and drive business growth. The CEO will oversee operations, regulatory compliance, and financial performance while positioning us as a leader in Egypt’s digital payments ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Vision

Execute the company’s strategic plan to grow our presence in Egypt’s payments and fintech market.

Align operations and initiatives with the Board of Directors’ objectives.

Identify and launch innovative payment solutions tailored to Egypt’s fast-growing digital economy.
Regulatory Compliance
-
Ensure compliance with all CBE rules and guidelines governing PSPs, e-money, and financial services.

Oversee AML, CTF, KYC, data privacy, and payment security compliance frameworks.

Maintain a proactive relationship with CBE and other regulators, ensuring smooth audits, licensing, and reporting.
Financial Management & Accountability

Develop financial plans, budgets, and performance forecasts.

Oversee PSP-related financial transactions with transparency and compliance.

Drive profitability through innovative products, partnerships, and customer acquisition.
Operational Excellence
-
Manage daily operations across compliance, finance, product, IT, and customer service.

Lead digital transformation initiatives to ensure scalability, resilience, and security.

Implement advanced fraud prevention systems and ensure secure transactions.
Risk Management

Establish a strong risk management framework for financial, regulatory, and operational risks.

Monitor and mitigate risks associated with PSP operations and digital payments.

Ensure compliance with governance standards under CBE licensing.
Stakeholder Engagement

Develop and manage relationships with CBE, banks, merchants, investors, and customers.

Represent us Egypt in fintech industry events and regulatory dialogues.

Advocate for the role in Egypt’s financial inclusion and cashless economy agenda.
Team Leadership & Development

Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team.

Drive recruitment and retention of fintech, compliance, and product specialists.

Promote an inclusive, innovative, and performance-driven culture.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).

10–15 years of leadership experience in financial services/fintech, including 5+ years in a CEO or executive role.

Proven track record of managing CBE-licensed entities or equivalent regulated institutions.

In-depth understanding of Egypt’s fintech and PSP regulatory environment.

Strong expertise in AML/CTF, KYC, data protection, and financial crime prevention.

Proven ability to drive growth, manage financial performance, and scale fintech operations.
-
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
