Chief Executive Officer

Position Summary:

One of our client are looking for Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will serve as the highestranking executive, responsible for the overall success, strategic direction, and operational efficiency of the company. This role requires deep fintech industry knowledge, strong leadership, fundraising capabilities, and the ability to navigate regulatory environments. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure the company achieves its financial and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Define and execute the company’s vision, mission, and long-term growth strategy.
• Lead the development of new fintech products and services aligned with market demands.
• Identify and pursue expansion opportunities including partnerships, acquisitions, and new markets.

Operational Oversight:

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient processes across departments (product, engineering,
• compliance, finance, sales, and marketing).
• Establish internal KPIs and performance metrics to drive operational excellence.
• Ensure a culture of innovation, agility, and accountability.

Financial Stewardship:

• Lead fundraising efforts, managing relationships with investors, VCs, and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage the annual budget; ensure financial goals are met.
• Report regularly on financial performance and forecasts to the Board.

Regulatory & Compliance:

• Maintain deep knowledge of financial regulations (e.g., KYC, AML, GDPR, PCI-DSS, etc.).
• Ensure the company remains compliant with all relevant financial and data protection laws.
• Build a robust risk management and governance framework.

Team Leadership:

• Build, lead, and retain a high-performing executive team.
• Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, transparency, and high performance.
• Act as a coach and mentor to senior leadership and key staff.

External Relations:

• Serve as the face of the company with media, regulators, partners, and investors.
• Represent the company at industry events, panels, and in the public domain.
• Build strategic alliances and partnerships that support business growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience as CEO, COO, or in an executive leadership role in a fintech, financial services, or tech company.
• Strong understanding of financial technologies, platforms, and digital transformation.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks in finance.
• Track record of successful fundraising (Seed, Series A–D, IPO, etc.).
• Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
