Chief Financial Officer

About the Group:

We are a dynamic holding company managing and sub-franchising multiple leading hotel brands across the MENA region. Our portfolio includes a growing number of hotel assets. As we scale, we are looking for a strategic and commercially savvy Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to help lead our organization and help drive the next phase of our expansion.


Position Summary:

The CFO will oversee all financial operations of the group, providing strategic financial leadership across a multi-brand hospitality portfolio. The role demands deep expertise in hospitality finance, particularly across franchising models. The CFO will act as a key business partner to the CEO, supporting growth, profitability, and compliance, while aligning financial strategies with overall business objectives. The CFO will be supported by a strong finance team already in place and who has been working in the company for several years.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Financial Planning

  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the group’s growth goals and operational objectives.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board on financial planning, risk management, and capital allocation.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning across hotel assets.

Financial Operations & Control

  • Oversee accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, audit, and internal control functions.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial reports across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Implement and maintain financial systems and processes that support a growing multi-entity structure.
  • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders.




Franchise & Hospitality Focus

  • Provide financial oversight of franchise/management agreements, including royalty payments, brand fees, and performance compliance.
  • Collaborate with operations and development teams to assess new franchise/management opportunities and investment returns.
  • Analyze property-level performance and drive profitability across assets.


Team Leadership & Development

  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA/ACA/CMA preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience , with at least 5 years in a senior finance role, ideally within the hospitality industry .
  • Familiarity with hotel franchise/management agreements is a key advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of international accounting standards and regional tax regulations (especially in MENA).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus, but not a requirement
