Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Job Description

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Jeffrey Glassman Injury Lawyers will play a critical role within the executive team, actively contributing to strategic discussions and decision-making that shape the firm’s growth trajectory. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing processes and initiatives that drive the expansion of the marketing and intake departments. By collaborating closely with key leaders across all departments, the CMO will support a comprehensive growth strategy that serves as the foundation for the firm's continued success and scalability.

Marketing

Day-to-Day Tasks:

  • Oversee and manage daily marketing operations to ensure lead generation goals are met.
  • Align marketing efforts with intake/sales strategies to optimize conversion rates.
  • Monitor marketing campaigns and adjust strategies based on performance data.
  • Ensure marketing attribution tracking is accurate and actionable.
  • Provide leadership with weekly insights into marketing performance.
  • Direct and manage marketing content creation and strategy.
  • Oversee the management of digital campaigns (e.g., GMB, LSA, PPC) to maximize ROI.
  • Partner with marketing and business development teams to ensure alignment with revenue growth initiatives.
  • Develop client engagement strategies to drive repeat business and word-of-mouth referrals.
  • Lead initiatives to increase online reviews, ratings, and overall reputation management.

Long-Term Tasks:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to identify new market opportunities and create go-to-market plans.
  • Develop yearly marketing budget and strategy to support firm growth goals.
  • Work with the executive team to maximize revenue potential through strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Implement and manage a data aggregation tool to provide full funnel insights across all marketing assets.
  • Explore opportunities for expansion into new markets or services to drive additional revenue.
  • Work with the executive team to audit and propose changes to marketing processes to improve efficiencies and remove bottlenecks and other pain points.

Intake

Day-to-Day Tasks:

  • Oversee intake operations and manage the intake team to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor individual and team intake performance against key metrics.
  • Ensure the intake team is aligned with marketing efforts to generate and convert qualified leads.
  • Provide coaching and support to sales and intake staff to enhance effectiveness.
  • Conduct weekly check-ins and progress reviews with the intake team.

Long-Term Tasks:

  • Lead the intake teams to drive improved conversion and case quality.
  • Develop strategies to maximize revenue potential across the intake funnel.
  • Implement a data aggregation tool to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish visibility into key metrics and develop a structured review cadence.
  • Collaborate with leadership and other departments to ensure strategic alignment and optimal results.
  • Ensure all cases eligible for referral are directed to appropriate sources and followed up on properly.
  • Audit internal intake processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Work with client intake and customer relationship teams to optimize the onboarding experience.
  • Implement innovative technology to improve client communication and case management efficiency.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop personalized campaigns and maintain a strong local presence.
  • Analyze client feedback to identify opportunities for service and process improvements.

Performance Monitoring & Analysis

  • Work with the executive team to implement and manage a data aggregation tool for marketing and intake.
  • Ensure visibility for all team members into key performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain a cadenced discussion framework around key performance indicators.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.

Expansion & Process Improvement

  • Explore opportunities to expand into new markets and service areas.
  • Develop strategies to optimize referral processes and minimize case waste.
  • Establish partnerships with vendors, media outlets, and other external resources to support growth initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in client-focused roles within the legal or professional services industry.
  • Deep understanding of personal injury client needs and expectations.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing and growth strategies.
  • Knowledge of legal industry marketing trends and tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
