The COO will act as the CEO’s operational right hand, driving execution across the group’s transportation and logistics businesses. This role sits at the center of strategy and operations, ensuring alignment between vision, performance, and delivery across multiple entities.

This position requires a senior leader with deep transportation and logistics expertise, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to manage complex, multi entity operations with discretion and authority.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate the CEO’s strategic vision into operational execution across all business units

• Oversee day to day transport, fleet, and logistics operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and profitability

• Drive performance management across Operations, Fleet, Finance, HR, Legal, Safety, and Compliance

• Lead cross functional alignment to improve service delivery, cost control, and margin performance

• Manage P and L oversight across multiple entities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls

• Strengthen governance, reporting frameworks, and operational KPIs

• Oversee contract performance, SLAs, and relationships with government entities and strategic partners

• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies

• Lead transformation initiatives across fleet optimization, digital systems, compliance, and process automation

• Ensure regulatory compliance across transportation and logistics operations

• Represent the CEO in executive, government, and partner meetings when required

• Maintain strict confidentiality across all strategic and commercial matters

Job Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of senior leadership experience

• Extensive background in transportation, logistics, or fleet based operations

• Proven experience operating at COO, General Manager, or Operations Director level

• Strong commercial and financial acumen with P and L responsibility

• Demonstrated ability to lead large scale, multi site operations

• Experience working within complex, multi entity group structures

• Strong leadership presence and decision making capability
