Salary: OMR 3,500 per month

Job Overview:
Soo-Bin Industrial is seeking an experienced Chief Procurement Officer to lead and oversee all procurement and supply chain activities within the oil and gas operations. The role is responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and efficient sourcing of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company operational and financial goals
• Lead end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, contracting, negotiation, and supplier management
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and contractors in the oil & gas sector
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks to optimize purchasing decisions
• Oversee contract management and vendor performance evaluation
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to forecast procurement needs
• Drive cost optimization and value engineering initiatives across projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
• Minimum of 8–12 years of experience in procurement, with strong exposure to oil & gas industry
• Proven leadership experience in managing procurement or supply chain departments
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor management skills
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities
• Strong understanding of international sourcing and logistics
