Chief Surveyor (Highrise Building)

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Chief Surveyor for high-rise building construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising all surveying activities, ensuring accurate layout and level works, and coordinating with construction and engineering teams for smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all site surveying and setting-out activities for high-rise building projects.
• Ensure accurate layout, alignment, coordinates, and level controls according to approved drawings.
• Establish and verify benchmarks, control points, and survey reference systems.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors regarding survey requirements.
• Monitor structural positioning, verticality, and dimensional accuracy during construction.
• Supervise surveying teams and ensure proper use and maintenance of survey equipment.
• Conduct as-built surveys and prepare survey reports and records.
• Verify excavation, foundation, pile, and structural layout works.
• Ensure all survey activities comply with project specifications and quality standards.
• Resolve site-related survey and coordinate issues efficiently.
• Maintain proper documentation of survey data, coordinates, and drawings.

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in surveying for high-rise building construction projects.
• Strong expertise in layout and surveying works for structural and civil construction.
• Proficiency in Total Station, Auto Level, GPS, and other survey instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and coordinates.
• Experience in high-rise, commercial, and residential projects preferred.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and surveying software is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction tolerances, benchmarks, and quality standards.
