Child Care Assistant Teacher

<Duties>

  • Support lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards such as Montessori or preschool frameworks
  • Assist with creating a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that promotes early childhood development
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities that enhance literacy education, math skills, and social interactions
  • Help manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies
  • Provide attentive toddler care and support for children with special needs or disabilities, including working with individuals with autism
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness standards within the daycare or preschool setting
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children’s progress and daily experiences

<Skills>

  • Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones
  • Experience in classroom management and lesson planning tailored for preschool or toddler age groups
  • Knowledge of working with children with disabilities or special needs, including autism spectrum disorders
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, children, and parents
  • Proficiency in curriculum development focused on literacy education, math, and behavior management techniques
  • Familiarity with daycare operations, private school environments, or Montessori methods is a plus
  • Ability to work patiently with young children, demonstrating empathy and adaptability in diverse situations
