Child Care Director

Child care is seeking a highly-motivated self-starter director to be a part of our team. Who is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing control and services of the program in conformance with the licensing requirements. This person MUST love kids, must present a professional appearance and ensure the overall operation and development of the center.

Our programs provide a hands-on, developmentally appropriate environment to meet the needs of children newborn through the age of 12. From managing staff, meeting with parents, to creating educational programs, the duties of a Child Care Director are varied.

REQUIREMENTS:

- AA Degree or Higher in Early Childhood Education

- Must meet all Florida state educational and licensing requirements for Director

- Valid VPK endorsed Florida Director Credentials

- Computer literate and proficient

- Valid Staff Credential

- Valid First Aid/CPR

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience managing day to day operations in a large Preschool

- Must be able to pass Background Check (local and federal)

- Must be able to demonstrate excellent organization and leadership skills

- Strong oral and written communication skills (English). Spanish is a plus

- Must not have conflicts with working an open schedule

- Must be able to communicate with staff and families

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
