Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Child Care Director to lead and oversee our early childhood education programs. In this vital role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality childcare services that foster developmental growth, safety, and happiness for children across various age groups. The Child Care Director will also manage daily operations, maintain compliance with licensing standards, and promote a positive community presence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of age-appropriate curriculum focused on childhood development, early education, and social-emotional growth.
- Supervise and support teaching staff by providing coaching, training in classroom management, behavior management, and caregiving best practices.
- Ensure all childcare activities comply with licensing regulations, safety standards, first aid protocols, and health guidelines.
- Oversee daily operations including enrollment procedures, staff scheduling, parent communication, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for children from infants to preschoolers.
- Manage classroom experience to foster inclusive learning environments that support working with children with disabilities or special needs.
- Conduct regular assessments of program quality and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance caregiving and educational outcomes.
- Promote a positive team culture by encouraging professional development in areas such as early childhood education, toddler care, and classroom experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children.
- Strong background in childhood development principles and early childhood education methodologies.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills along with experience in behavior management strategies.
- Certifications in CDA, first aid and CPR are required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are highly desirable.
- Prior leadership experience as a childcare director or supervisor is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with parents, staff, and community partners.

Pay: From $48,000.00 per year
