Child Care Teacher

The Village ELC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child Care Provider to join our team. If you have a passion for working with children, creating a safe and nurturing environment, and fostering their development, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment for children in our care.

- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts that promote learning and creativity.

- Maintain open and effective communication with parents, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.

- Attend to the personal and hygiene needs of children, including feeding, diaper changing, and assisting with potty training.

- Ensure a clean and organized environment, including regular sanitization of toys, equipment, and play areas.

- Follow established policies and procedures, including safety protocols, emergency procedures, and health regulations.

- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, including daily routines, activities, and any notable incidents.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with children in a professional or volunteer capacity is preferred but not necessary

- A genuine love for children and a strong desire to contribute to their growth and development.

- Excellent communication, with the ability to engage and connect with children and their parents.

- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability to meet the individual needs of each child.

- Basic knowledge of child development principles and practices.

- First Aid and CPR certifications are a plus.

- Must pass a background check and any other required screenings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
