Childcare Provider

Job Summary

Duties

• Provide attentive care for children, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs or disabilities
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and creativity
• Ensure safety by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary
• Support children's emotional well-being through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and potty training
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's progress and any concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that encourages exploration and learning in line with early childhood education standards

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles is highly preferred
• Classroom experience or involvement in early childhood education programs is advantageous
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies is essential
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications related to working with individuals with disabilities are a plus
• Demonstrated ability to care for infants and toddlers with patience and compassion
• Experience implementing educational activities that support developmental milestones
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members
