Job Summary

Duties

• Supervise children during play, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety at all times
• Implement age-appropriate activities that promote development in areas such as motor skills, language, and social interaction
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies using proper procedures
• Assist with daily routines including diapering, feeding, potty training, and bedtime routines

Skills

• Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education techniques
• Ability to manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies
• Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies
• Experience working with infants, toddlers, and children with disabilities or special needs
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children effectively
• Classroom experience or daycare background demonstrating familiarity with early learning environments
