Duties

• Provide attentive care to children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood education, creativity, and social skills.
• Ensure the safety of all children by supervising playtime, meal times, nap times, and outdoor activities.
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or behavioral issues.
• Support childhood development milestones through engaging teaching methods and behavior management techniques.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards for daycare or classroom settings.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or classroom environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages.
• Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and sleep routines.
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support positive social interactions.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous; ongoing training in childcare best practices is encouraged.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.

Pay: $15.25 - $19.00 per hour
