Who are we looking for?

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Singing/Vocal Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Music Performance, K-12 Music Education, or a related field.
• Experience in vocal coaching and a strong understanding of music theory.
• The ability to create engaging and effective singing/music lessons for students of varying skill levels.
• A kind, respectful, and reliable personality with a commitment to high-quality teaching.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver 15-week courses with minimal interruptions.
• Teach students proper vocal techniques, including breath control, pitch accuracy, tone production, and performance skills.
• Incorporate music theory into lessons to help students understand the fundamentals of music.
• Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students grow.
• Communicate promptly and professionally via text and email.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching experience (e.g., homeschooling, tutoring, coaching, mentoring).
• Teaching certification (e.g., state teaching license, music education certification).
• Ability to play an instrument (e.g., piano, guitar) to accompany students during lessons (not required but a plus).
