Chinese Translator

As a Chinese Translator, your major task will be to accurately and effectively translate written or spoken text from Chinese to English and Urdu (or vice versa). You may work on documents, emails, websites, marketing materials, legal texts, technical documents, and other forms of content.

Role:

· Convert written or spoken content from Chinese to English and Urdu or English to Chinese, maintaining accuracy, clarity, and context.

· Have a thorough awareness of Chinese culture to guarantee that cultural references and colloquial expressions are translated correctly.

· Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other team members to clarify project requirements, discuss potential challenges, and deliver high-quality translations.

· Efficiently manage multiple translation assignments, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks accordingly.

· Provide language support for various tasks within the organization, such as interpreting during meetings or conferences, if required.

· Ensure the final translated content adheres to the organization's quality standards and meets client expectations.

Qualifications:

· Native or near-native fluency in both Chinese and English.

· A bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience may be considered.

. HSK level 5 or 6.

· Previous experience as a professional translator.
