Job Overview
c2o is hiring a detail oriented Transcriber to support a UK-based legal client. This role works closely with lawyers and legal teams, assisting in translating, transcribing, and documenting legal materials between English and Urdu. The position requires strong language command, discretion, and accuracy, given the confidential nature of legal documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate legal documents and audio content from English to Urdu and vice versa with high accuracy.
• Transcribe legal dictations, hearings, statements, and recorded materials.
• Assist lawyers with drafting, formatting, and maintaining legal documents and case files.
• Ensure all documentation is clear, well-structured, and aligned with legal standards.
• Maintain organized records and proper documentation of translated and transcribed files.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
• Meet assigned deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong command of English and Urdu, both written and verbal.
• Proven experience in transcription, translation, or legal documentation preferred.
• Ability to understand legal terminology or willingness to learn quickly.
• Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
• Strong documentation and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable working onsite in a professional office environment.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a part-time role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with legal teams, law firms, or legal documentation.
• Familiarity with UK legal terminology or documentation standards is a plus.
