About United Medical Evaluators (UME)

United Medical Evaluators (UME) provides administrative and operational support to physicians performing Qualified Medical Evaluations (QMEs) throughout California. We are expanding our network and seeking licensed Chiropractors interested in flexible, per-diem work assisting QME physicians during evaluation days.

Position Overview

Assist QME physicians with the non-clinical aspects of their med-legal evaluations. This includes ensuring exam day logistics run smoothly, that all records and documentation are organized and compliant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and organize records
• Manage patient flow and schedule timing
• Ensure HIPAA / CMIA confidentiality
• Support basic administrative tasks throughout the day
• Taking limited history or basic functional notes
• Ensuring reports and patient information remain organized and compliant

Ideal Candidate

• California DC license in good standing
• Professional, organized, and dependable
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to travel to assigned locations

Compensation & Schedule

• $300–$500 per day (4–8 hour assignments)
• Independent Contractor status (1099)
• Work accepted on an as-needed basis

Locations / Travel Area

This position is based in Irvine, CA (Orange County) and involves travel to our other physician sites in:

• San Diego County (Mission Valley, La Mesa, Chula Vista)
• Inland Empire / San Bernardino County (San Bernardino, Riverside, Ontario, Redlands)
• Imperial County (El Centro)

Assignments are scheduled in advance.
Compensation rates are structured to reflect travel and time commitments agreed upon prior to each assignment.

Job Type: Part-time

Base Pay: $300.00 - $500.00 per day
