CIAM Operions Specialist

Role Purpose:

Responsible for updating all clients’ data and ensuring the accuracy of the accounting information by entering, verifying and consolidating transactions, managing all aspects of subscriptions and redemptions, as well as handle reporting to banks, tax authorities and regulators

Role Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Prepares monthly clients’ bank reconciliation
  • Sends reports to clients, per contractual agreements
  • Prepares clients’ tax return submission (income tax, stamp tax and other taxes)
  • Monitors and processes corporate actions
  • Manages new client onboarding and handover
  • Manages individual clients, in terms of operational support and reporting
  • Reconciles trading execution with brokerage company invoices and highlights daily variances
  • Prepares the periodic newspaper advertising
  • Calculates NAVs and matches them with that of the administrative fund service NAV
  • Follows up on all tax calculations, NAV and government fees (development fees, social insurance fees, and regulator fees)
  • Keeps records for all fees and tax filings and payments
  • Performs bank account opening for funds and portfolios and updates bank accounts information if needed
  • Coordinates with the account opening team / Business Development for any onboarding
  • Oversees the handling of all subscription and redemption procedures, including compliance clearance, client management and communication
  • Updates the Head of Operations on relevant developments in a timely manner
  • Shows initiative by proposing new ideas and offering to go above and beyond one’s main responsibilities; where possible
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the field of finance or related fields

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of industry experience, including demonstrable experience in accounting/investment support

  • Languages: English and Arabic fluency at a minimum
  • IT Tools: Internal systems, MS Office, Reuters/MIST/Bloomberg, asset management systems

  • Captures and collects documentation from internal and external sources in line with set policies and procedures
  • Adheres to security procedures when storing, transferring, or disposing confidential materials
