JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Review scripts to identify filming techniques and additional equipment needs.
- Collaborate with the Director to create a list of required camera and lighting equipment.
- Coordinate and order necessary recording/film materials; communicate with camera rental companies.
- Assemble, inspect, and maintain camera equipment to ensure functionality on set.
- Set up and dismantle cameras; conduct test shots to achieve desired framing and lighting.
- Manage focus pulling, change lenses, filters, and other camera adjustments as needed.
- Adjust camera settings and monitor recording parameters during filming.
- Provide on-set support for audio recording and manage DIT workflows.
- Compile and organize visual references; assist in brainstorming look and feel of each project.
- Draft shot lists with the Producer to align with project vision and storytelling goals.
- Ensure organized dailies for the Edit department; support seamless post-production processes.
- Coordinate with the Edit department to meet project timelines.
- Attend screenings and conduct test recordings to maintain quality standards.
- Perform minor equipment repairs as needed and set up additional equipment.
- Work closely with the creative team to brainstorm and refine visual style.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum experience of 2–3 years
- Experience operating relevant equipment (Cameras, audio equipment, drones, gimbals, lights etc.)
- Ability to understand and follow camera scripts.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in teams.
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of operating camera equipment for extended periods.
- Degree in film, media or relevant field.
- Research and development for innovative filming techniques.
- Must be willing to do extensive travelling..
- Must have a documentary film or similar experience.

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
