CIP Operator (Agriculture Background)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor automated CIP systems, selecting the appropriate cleaning cycles/programs for different equipment and production lines.
• Verify and control cycle parameters, including time, temperature, flow rate, and chemical concentrations, to ensure compliance with sanitation protocols.
• Prepare and handle cleaning solutions and chemicals safely, performing titrations and other tests (e.g., pH, ATP swabbing) to verify their effectiveness and concentration levels.
• Identify and troubleshoot any mechanical, automation, or chemical issues that arise during cleaning cycles, working with maintenance and engineering teams as needed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all cleaning cycles, test results, and chemical usage logs, ensuring full compliance with standards such as GMP, HACCP, and FSMA.
• Conduct pre- and post-CIP inspections to confirm cleanliness and proper equipment assembly, and perform basic routine maintenance on pumps, valves, and other CIP equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures when performing maintenance or handling chemicals.
• Coordinate effectively with production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to schedule cleaning operations efficiently and minimize downtime.

Experience:

• CIP Operator: 3 years (Required)
