Circulation Assistant

The Jackson County Public Library is taking applications for one permanent part-time library assistant at the Check Out Desks. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and technology skills. Prior customer service experience a plus!

Possible scheduled hours for an average of 28 hours per week is:

*Monday 1 pm - 7 pm (6 hours)

*Tuesday 11:30 am - 6 pm (Medora - 6.5 hours)

*Thursday 10- 7 pm (8 hours)

*Friday 10 am - 6 pm (7.5 hours)

*Every other Saturday 9 am - 1:30 pm (4.5 hours)

Duties include assisting customers, computer data entry, opening and closing duties, and various clerical assignments at the Seymour, Crothersville and Medora libraries.

Salary: $15.50 hr. Immediate paid holidays if scheduled. Pro-rated vacation, personal, and sick days after six months.
