Technical Duties
- Deploy, configure, and support Cisco enterprise solutions including:
- Routing & Switching: Catalyst, Nexus
- Security: ASA, Firepower, ISE, Umbrella
- Wireless: WLC, Access Points, DNAC
- Collaboration: CUCM, Webex
- SD-WAN, Meraki, ACI
- Prepare and deliver Low-Level Designs (LLDs), implementation plans, and configuration guides.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support during project rollouts and post-deployment.
- Conduct site surveys, network assessments, and health checks.
- Coordinate with Cisco TAC and regional SE teams for escalations.
Commercial / Pre-Sales Duties
- Collaborate with sales and bid teams to:
- Understand client needs and propose tailored Cisco solutions.
- Prepare BoMs, proposals, and solution documents.
- Support RFP/RFI responses, client demos, and presentations.
- Assist with deal registration, pricing strategies, and Cisco Middle East incentive programs (VIP, CSPP, OIP).
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with Cisco solutions in the GCC / Middle East region.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise network design and implementation.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco licensing, Smart Accounts, and Enterprise Agreements.
- Familiarity with Cisco’s channel ecosystem (partners, distributors, Cisco AMs).
- Certifications:
- CCNP (Enterprise, Security, or Collaboration) – required
- CCNA – minimum baseline
- Strong client-facing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Arabic language familiarity (preferred, not mandatory).
Preferred Experience
- Working with government or oil & gas clients (Qatar, UAE, KSA).
- Multi-vendor integration (Cisco + Palo Alto, Fortinet, Microsoft, etc.).
- Understanding of procurement cycles, SLA expectations, and compliance norms in the Middle East.
Soft Skills
- Culturally adaptable for diverse GCC teams.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to balance technical quality with commercial cost-effectiveness.
