CIVIL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of civil construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Oversee construction site activities, maintaining safety standards and quality control throughout all phases of work.
• Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes utilizing Construction estimating tools like HeavyBid or similar software.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
• Facilitate effective project coordination through clear communication of timelines, deliverables, and responsibilities.
• Ensure timely resolution of issues related to project scheduling, resource allocation, or technical challenges.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience in civil construction management with a strong understanding of construction site operations.
• Proficiency with project management tools including Primavera P6, Primavera P3, ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, HeavyBid or equivalent software.
• Solid knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction drawings.
• Experience managing contracts and understanding legal aspects related to construction projects.
• Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, cost estimation, and construction estimating techniques.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients or stakeholders.
• Familiarity with construction safety standards and site inspection procedures.
