Position :Civil Design Engineer / GeotechEngineer

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 7-12 yrs

Qualification : BTech Civil / MTech Geotech preferred

Experience in Foundation design

Job Profile:

Monitor and supervise the geotechnical investigation work related to Solar, Wind and other renewable energy project work. Evaluate and recommend the need for change in design as per site conditions. The design of structures and concrete buildings will be an added advantage. Main Job Responsibilites are:

• Proficiency in Design of Long, Short , Ramming Pile foundation, shallow & Raft Foundations & SBC calculations .
• Good command on slope stability analysis.
• Knowledge on pile installation methodology and planning will be a huge bonus. Conversant with analysis software like PLAXIS, L-PILE, A-PILE, etc.
• Develops optimized design for soil foundation systems in conformity with IS standards and international standards.
• Interface with other Project Specialists and Designers and plan, co-ordinate, execute and control the geotechnical engineering activities for a project or a proposal in accordance with project requirements.
• Initiate and manage studies with external Contractors and Consultants. Prepares and follow-up Subcontracts associated to the Soil investigation and design of soil foundations system.
• Review of Geo-technical investigation reports and advise the best soil structural system.
• Preparation of Technical specifications for Geo-technical investigation
• Commercial Packages: GEO5, SLIDE, MIDAS GTS NX, All-
• Commercial Packages: Plaxis 2D, Plaxis 3D, Slope/W, Settle
  3D.Pile, Geo-din (Fugro in-house database management engine),
• Supporting and supervising Geotechnical Team in Liquefaction Analysis, Safe Bearing Capacity
  Calculations, Settlement Analysis, Slope Stability Analysis, Pile Capacity Calculations, Optimization
  of Pile Foundation Design.
  Design of Shoring System and Deep Excavation measures in Geo5 mainly Sheet Piles, Secant Piles
  and Diaphragm Walls.
  Shallow & Pile Foundation design and optimization for Major & Minor Bridges, Metros, Viaducts.
  Slope Stability Analysis for Railway Embankment, Transmission Line Towers.
  Design of Stone Columns for Transmission Towers, Substations.
  Coordinating with Client and other Stake Holders.
  UNIPLOT (Fugro in-house CPT processing module), Gint.
